1) BICIG NET access

BICIG NET can be used: - on a PC running with Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000 or XP ; - on a Macintosh with OS 9 or later. It is optimised for versions 6.0 & later of Netscape Navigator and 5.5 & later of Internet Explorer.

BICIG NET uses the JAVA SCRIPT technology, particularly to execute coherence controls of entered data (syntax, data format,...). We recommend you to activate this feature in your browser.

2) Display

The display of your accounts should be clean. To get the best display, we recommend the following settings :
- With Netscape, use the Times New Roman font in 10;
- With Internet Explorer, use the "smallest" font.

3) Cheque-book orders

BICIG NET offers two services: one for individual customers and the other for corporate customers.

You can register all your cheque accounts, joint accounts or savings accounts on BICIG NET subscription. You can keep track of your fixed term deposits, your loan position and other accounts.

4) Cookie

Once you have been identified by the system , BNPPARIBAS.NET GULF suggests you to accept a cookie enabling you to set up a "session" between the BICIG NET server and your workstation, avoiding the need to identify yourself for each BICIG NET service. This cookie is not permanent, it "drops" once you close your browser or after a few moments of inactivity on our website. You must accept this cookie to gain access to BICIG NET . Please remember to deactivate the cookie filter feature in your browser, otherwise you will be unable to access your accounts via BICIG NET . The identification procedure for BICIG NET can in no case be automated by this cookie. This automation is not desirable for security reasons. .

5) E-mail

The E-mail service lets you contact the BICIG NET customer hotline and get an answer as soon as possible in case any help is required with regards to particular service.

This message service is not a business or banking service, i.e. does not handle commercial or banking queries, ....

You cannot presently contact your BICIG NET adviser by E-mail.

6) Accounts registration

You can subscribe to BICIG NET for all your cheque and savings accounts. Your local branch is also allowed to modify the account list of your subscription (adding, deleting, modifying ...). Please contact your adviser to do so.

7) Identification

To access BICIG NET , you must enter your ID and password. For security reasons : - we advise you to regulary change your password without waiting for our recommendation to do so which after the eightieth connection. - there is a limit to the number of incorrect entries when keying your access codes. After 3 attempts, your BICIG NET subscription will be locked out. Your BNP Paribas branch alone can unlock your subscription.

8) Password

Your password must be numerical only and contain 6 digits. If you forget or lose your password, only your local branch is allowed to issue you a new one. If needed, please contact your adviser.

To change your password, after you have been identified, click on the pictogram "Customize your subscription" and after that on "Change your password" and then follow the advice given to you online.

9) BICIG NET Security

BNPPARIBAS. NET GULF security is built with the double key (ID and password given to you when subscribing) and also with the encryption of all the network data (SSL technology).

At any time, you can change your password. If you forget this password , please contact your adviser who is the only one allowed to create a new one.

For total security, BICIG NET recommends that you : - clear your browser cache after each BICIG NET session. - close your browser after each session.

Do not let your browser save SSL pages.

10) Account balance and transaction statements

With BICIG NET , you can display the balance of all your accounts registered in your subscription, as well as all transactions saved with these accounts for the last 45 days. It is not possible to get more than 45 days of history.

Balances are updated each evening from Sunday to Thrusday for users in Bahrain and Qatar, and from Saturday to Thrusday for users in Dubai and Abu Dhabi (except bank holidays), with the daily transactions saved by the bank.

11) BICIG NET fees

The monthly subscription is to be set by your branch.

Only your local branch is allowed to handle any disputes concerning invoicing of this service. Please contact your adviser if needed.

12) Transfers

BICIG NET allows you to execute transfer requests between registered accounts in your subscription. You have the choice between deferred or immediate transfer (deferred : calendar 2 month maximum).

Transfer amount :

The amount of each transfer must not exceed the amount of the credit balance of the account to be debited, plus the amount of the transactions waiting for posting plus any authorised overdraft or cash facility. For deferred transfer, these controls are carried out on the morning of the requested execution date. If the amount is not sufficient on the morning, the transfer cannot be executed.

Value dates :

- transfer from an ordinary account to another ordinary account, value date : D (D : entered day before , banking working day);
- transfer from an ordinary account to a savings account, value date : first day of the following fortnight;
- transfer from a savings account to an ordinary account, value date : first day of the current fortnight;
- transfer from a savings account to another savings account, value date : first day of the following fortnight.
-Other account types : . debit value date : D-1; . credit value date : D+1. These value dates apply if the transfer order is entered before 1 pm (local time). NB : A transfer does not mean execution. In the event of a phone line cut for example, confirmation of your transfer request may have failed to reach BICIG NET . To be sure that your request will be saved, please consult the history of your requests immediately after sending your transfer order. You can display the history of all your transfer requests. For immediate transfers, you get the history of your requests for the last 5 days. You can also cancel pending transfer requests (the day after sending the order and until D-1 before the requested execution date).
